A man of vision - Dr. D.K. Mittal

Dr. D. K. Mittal - the name itself spells the magic of reform in the field of education. At the core of his philosophy of education is the relationship between the teacher and the taught. He had unveiled a new aspect of education by relating all educational activities to the computer. He was the embodiment of strength, courage, sincerity and determination.

He had put in tremendous effort to frame an effective educational policy keeping in mind the socio-economic condition of various sections of society. He was in the process of implementing this policy in India . He strongly believed that the implementation of this new education policy will definitely bring a revolutionary change and problems like unemployment, urbanization and brain drain will be checked to a great extent in our country. It would certainly pave the way to the enrolment of India 's name in the category of developed countries.

Dr. Mittal had devoted a great deal of his time to the unity and integrity of the Asian countries and has come to the conclusion that the silver line behind the cloud is development of the Indo-China friendship, which is bound to solve various problems of India at various levels. It would save a chunk of India 's expenditure on arms and ammunition and this amount could be used in other spheres where there is scope for development.

Dr. Mittal was serving the nation by shouldering many other responsibilities. One of those innumerable tasks is the all round personality development of the children by giving them exposure at the national as well as the international level. He organized educational tours to the developed countries like U.K. , France , Germany , Italy , Holland , Hong Kong , Singapore and many other countries. Students get first hand information of the progressive scientific and technical education of these countries.

Dr. Mittal had founded many educational institutions in India that provide quality education. His work had been appreciated by one and all in the country and even by the foreign delegates who have visited the institutions founded by him. Dr. Mittal had won international recognition for his selfless and valuable contribution to various fields at the national and international level.

Dr. D.K. Mittal was invited to China by the Chinese Govt. to inaugurate Children's painting exhibition and he visited three states of China where these exhibitions were organised.

Several books on Fine Arts have been written by Dr. D.K. Mittal. Moreover he had worked in the field of journalism for the past 30 years. He is a reputed painter.

To sum up all his qualities he can be called an educationist, a social reformer, a leader and an artist, a creator and above all a role model, a friend, philosopher and guide to all his associates. His dynamic personality was the secret of his success in all his ventures.

11-05-2000 to 18-05-2000 – Dr. D.K. Mittal was invited by Republic of China Govt. to visit China as State Guest. Where he saw the life & Culture of China. After coming back he organized a Photo Exhibition along with lectures on China 's Life & Culture.

11-05-2000 – Government of Republic of China, Ministry of Culture invited Dr. D.K. Mittal at the opening of India-China Children Painting Exhibition. Dr. D.K. Mittal inaugurated the exhibition. Distinguished dignitories from Indian Embassy in China and China 's Ministry of Culture were present. Dr. D.K. Mittal delivered a lecture over India-China's Cultural and Historical relations since 2000 years. Dr. Mittal visited China between 11-05-2000 to 18-05-2000 Beijing , Shenyan and Herbe and gave 10 lectures. Dr. Mittal gave awards to Chinese students. Ministry of China also honoured Dr. D.K. Mittal by performing Chinese Ballet.
08-09-2000 – Organised “Environmental & Ignorance is happiness” Seminar in Ghaziabad in Collaboration with Lioness Hinder River Club, Ghaziabad . Winner students were awarded by Dr. D.K. Mittal.
11-11-2000 – Opened a Primary wing in Chiranjiv Vihar, Ghaziabad on International Educational standard.
25-12-2000 – Organised a seminar in education in India & Russia . A delegation from Moscow visited Schiller Institute Sr. Sec. School , Ghaziabad . An educational Cultural exchange programmed were finalized from Russian side. Prof. Sergei Radysh, Vice Chancellor, Peoples Friendship University of Russia, Dr. Nekolai Samsonenkv, Director General and other Russian dignities.
28-05-2001 – Exhibition of Photgraphs & Painting on the Life and Culture of China compiled by Dr. D.K. Mittal during his state visit to China. Chief Guest were Hon'ble Sharad Yadav; Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. Guest of Honour were K. Natwar Singh Former State External Affair Minister, Govt. of India.
In 2002 visited Shanghai on the invitation of Mayor of Shangai and written a book on the History, Life and Culture of Shanghai.
