On May 4th, 2017, a mock fire drill was conducted in the premises of Schiller Senior Secondary School, it was to create awareness amongst the teachers and the support staff about the fire accidents and mishaps that can occur due to fire.
It was an enriching experience to learn about the different kinds of fire that one can encounter in their daily lives and the ways and means in which we can control such hazards. We also learned about how not to panic in such emergency situations, how to take care of our students and what precautions to be taken to prevent such mishap. A mock drill was conducted to create awareness.
Students of classes V - IX visited the National Science Centre at Pragati Maidan as an educational trip. The museum, one of the biggest science centres in the country was set up with the aim of allowing children to explore, experiment and have fun with science. There were several galleries, each one dedicated to a particular theme.There were a number of models related to science and technology. Some of them based on principles and laws could be operated by the students which gave them a hands on experience of how things work. The children were thrilled to see different forms of prehistoric life in the Dinosaur Gallery. It was a great learning experience for the children. An experience that engaged students to learn by seeing and doing. True edutainment for the kids!

Keeping in view the above framework, Schiller Senior Secondary School had organized an interactive workshop on the Innovative Methods of the Teaching by a senior consultant in the field of education. It was a great learning experience for the teachers as they learned tools to make classroom lively by adopting different techniques as differentiated instructions, cooperative learning, inquiry based learning etc. Overall it was an enriching experience for everyone.
The Young Learners of class 10th of Schiller Senior Secondary School under the Cultural Exchange Programme visited the Japanese Foundation today. It was a great learning experience for the students as they learned the various life skills of sharing and caring beyond the domestic boundaries. Schillerites gave hand made token of love to the Japanese too.
Students explored the Japanese culture, system of elementary education, n the different books in their library. The students also enjoyed the activity of origami. Besides this they visited Japanese art gallery where they were told about the various aspects of Japanese culture. At the end they were greeted with a Japanese souvenir
International cultural exchange programme are a regular feature at Schiller Senior Secondary School... continue the same, on 30th August 2017. A visit was made by Ms. Hildaa Farkhas - Renowned Counsellor from hungary to the school.
She discussed about various career options and the admission procedures in Hungary.
She appreciated the school for the Academic excellence and leadership skills amongst the students.

The students of grade 8 & 9 visited Embassy of Netherlands in Chanakya Puri. Students got the opportunity to explore country and culture. Their interaction with the embassy staff was fruitful. Different queries of the students were answered enthusiastically. The students were told that embassy plays a key role in the Dutch government efforts to strengthen bilateral economic relations between the Netherlands and India. Activities are developed based on annual planning, focusing on key sectors including water, life sciences and health, logistics, energy and creative industry. The visit proved to be an enriching and learning experience for everyone.
The visit to the supermarket proved to be a great learning experience for kids. With wings of imagination, it became a place where children can reinforce some of the most important concepts in a practical way they learnt in the class room. The supermarket provides ample opportunity to kids in understanding and selecting items, understanding numerals. Students enjoyed this educational visit so much.....
Schiller Senior Secondary School, Ghaziabad organized a trip to the "Embassy of Peru, New Delhi" on Monday, 9th October 2017 for the students of Grade 7. Students got the wonderful opportunity to explore the country and their culture. They visited the Art gallery at the Embassy where they were shown some of the finest pieces of art. The Embassy staff showed a video to the students which was on all about Peru and even conducted a quiz to test there knowledge and listening skills. Students answered all the answers enthusiastically showing their tremendous interest and inquisitiveness to explore and grow. They were even made aware about the Peruvian government's effort to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Peru and India. Thus the visit proved to be an enriching and learning experience for everyone.
The students of Grade 9 and 10 went to World 's of Wonder Noida on 14th October .
It was a fun filled moment for them. They enjoyed various rides and had a gala time.
They enthusiastically enjoyed the Trip.

The Campaign "SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN" was officially launched by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 145th birth anniversary of the Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd of October in 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi.
In keeping with the concern of Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji ... a cleanliness drive was organized for Schillerites in association with DAINIK JAGRAN on 16th October, 2017. Students of Schiller Sr. Sec. School of grade7 and grade 8 voluntary gave their names to make Clean & Green India. Chairman Sir, Mr. A K Gupta and Vice Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Handa Ma'am inculcated students to participate in large numbers in this Nobel Mission.
The students in large numbers went to Central Park, Raj Nagar & from there, the rally moved to Sector 10 Ramlila Ground where they had an interaction with the DISTRICT MAGISTRATE OF GHAZIABAD (RITU MAHESHWARI). Even teachers were an essential part of this drive. The DM told students to follow cleanliness in every nook and corner & to make the city clean and green. Finally students came back happily. It was an unique experience for all of the students. They were very happy to be a part of this great drive that would transform the face of their country forever
Schiller Senior Secondary School, Ghaziabad organized a trip to the "Korean Embassy"' New Delhi" on Tuesday, 31st October 2017 for the students of Grade-11Sci. This trip was being organized as a part of the "International exchange program" that the school has inculcated in the curriculum from this session onwards.
Students got the wonderful opportunity to explore the country and their culture. The embassy staff showed a video to the students which was on all about their country & culture and even showed different Korean musical instruments and told how to play them. Students got the opportunity to wear different traditional dresses & ate Korean dish. The embassy officials demonstrated Taekwondo a Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. They were even made aware about the Korean government's efforts to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Korea and India. Thus the visit proved to be an enriching and learning experience for everyone.
'Guru Nanak Gurupurab also known as Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav celebrate the birth of the first Sikh guru' KP students visited Gurudwara on this occasion. They were distributed toffees as parshad. They also enjoyed listening Gurbani there. It will enhance students' perspective on sacred space & religious reality.

To encourage our students of Grade 11 & 12, Schiller. Sr. Sec. School (Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi) has organized picnic to the "Biggest Adventure Park" in Delhi NCR for our students. It was a much needed break for students. There were number of adventurous rides which gave them adrenaline rush. There were a number of activities for students like DJ , boating and floating huts, State of the 7-lane bowling adventure, Themed Rain dance, Jungle house and many more activities.
Vice Principal Ma'am (Ms.Jyoti Handa) always inspires the students to accept all the challenges of life. Students of Grade 11 & 12 were more excited and it was a fun filled day which students will remember always.
Schiller always gives platform to the students to present themselves in front of people to enhance their confidence level. The Hon'ble Chairman Sir (Mr. A. K. Voice Of Unity "VANDE MATARAM " an event to promote good morals was organized for grade 8 & 9 by IMCTF (Ghaziabad). Our students had got the opportunity to sing our National Song "Vande Mataram " in one voice at the programme. On this event the students learnt the values given by the Chief Minister of UP, Shri Yogi Adityanath ji. Snacks were provided to the students.
The presence of Deputy Chief Minister of UP Dinesh Sharma and A young voice of Abhijeet Sawant made the event more enjoyable for the Students.
With this event students learnt about the importance of the sacrifice made by the warriors of the country. This event added colour to the lives of students. Students learnt the right values for our Nation and moreover, inculcated the feeling of patriotism and love for our country.

Schiller Sr. Sec. School organized a workshop regarding teacher development programme which were conducted by Cordova and Rachna Sagar Publications on 13th Feb and 16th Feb 2018 respectively.
Teachers were made aware about the proper usage and importance of Cordova and Rachna sagar software.
It was amazingly helpful for the teachers as new upgraded methods and skills were told and explained by Cordova and Rachna sagar people. It is very much necessary to enhance the learning and understanding skills of our students.
